Due to numerous safety and health measures, we were able to maintain our ability to act during the global pandemic last year.
Currently (calendar week 34 of this year), more than 4,000 employees are working at 18 locations worldwide. Of these, a little more than 3500 employees are supporting you as your partners on a total of 101 different construction sites in 15 countries that have been affected by the Corona virus.
In 2021, our company remains fully committed to living with the health challenges and integrating the pandemic into our daily work. Under the professional leadership of our HSEQ managers, we are taking targeted measures to protect the health of our employees and maintain our services.
Establishment of a cross-company Anti-Virus Workforce Team (AVT).
Already launched at the beginning of March 2020, the team ensures the best possible crisis management for all Christof Industries companies through
- outstanding information quality and consistent information flow
- centralised coordination of communication
- creation and coordination of a COVID Christof Industries master plan, which can be adapted to each country’s specific needs
- introduction of an international and digital health strategy
- and central documentation of all measures.
Shift to home office and teleworking
Where possible, we have equipped our administrative units for home office and teleworking at an early stage. Currently, over 200 people are operating under a modified employment contract. This allows us to respond flexibly to the current situation and to react quickly to suspected Covid-19 cases of staff members. It is our top priority to provide a safe working environment and to fully maintain our operations despite the ever-changing situation.
Employee training and guidelines
The actions of each individual have a great impact on the potential spread of the virus and on society. For this reason, we have been training our employees extensively in Covid-19 prevention since spring 2020 and have established clear behavioural guidelines within the company.
Our safety concepts are continuously adapted to changing regulations and incorporate country-specific laws and regulations. As the internal safety and health measures within Christof Industries have always been very rigorously oriented, we were able to react quickly in this exceptional situation. In cooperation with medical professionals, all our sites and construction sites were continuously audited by in-house experts and checked for compliance with hygiene guidelines.
Comprehensive testing strategy
To exclude infection clusters, we rely on a comprehensive testing strategy within our companies. Isolation rooms and rapid antigen tests are available at many of our sites, allowing us to quickly clarify any suspected cases.
In addition, we offer our employees the possibility of antibody testing in order to assess hidden infections.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, all our employees acted exemplary in their compliance with hygiene regulations. This enables us to offer safe services and products to all our customers and partners and to ensure a safe future for all companies within Christof Industries.

Both in and after the Corona crisis, all our industry’s operating sites and facilities need to continue to operate in an incident-free and efficient manner.
