A focus of Christof Industries’ work is the continual improvement of its in-house technologies, to make ever better and ever more conscious use of raw, scrap and waste products. Our Reject to Power technique for example is being further developed in our own test facility. Our research teams dedicate efforts to developing means to use residues from purification processes, in particular reject material from the paper industry, in a sustainable way. They are also working on possibilities for reusing phosphor, a by-product in sewage sludge utilisation.
Following the conclusion of a test phase in an in-house test facility, Bioenergy2020+ and Christof Project GmbH have agreed to collaborate within the scope of the COMET program. The project “C10033016 New Biomass Fuels III” and other scientific proposals will be implemented jointly.
Bioenergy2020+ is an umbrella arrangement bringing together five research institutes to pool competencies from all institutes in order to facilitate precompetitive applied research in the field of bio-energy.
